Challenge
Automotive assembly line conveyor system operates under heavy load for extended hours (16+ hours daily), original mineral gear oil had insufficient film strength under high load causing rapid gear wear; high production line temperatures accelerated oil oxidation and deterioration.
Solution
Upgraded to Denuforce PG-220 full synthetic gear oil with PAO base oil and extreme pressure anti-wear additives. Implemented break-in monitoring plan after oil change, optimized oil replacement and top-up strategies.
Results
Gearbox temperature rise reduced by 15°C, conveyor energy consumption reduced by 12%, gear wear reduced by 70%, oil change interval extended from 6 months to 24 months, annual comprehensive cost savings of 450,000 RMB.
